The least house necessary - was a presentation that explores examples of the Indigenous and non-Indigenous traditional architecture from tropical regions of northern Australia (from Darwin to Cairns). In particular the presentation examines Yolngu and Cape York ethno-architecture, Burnett houses from Darwin and generic Queenslander houses in Cairns pre-World War Two. It examines each considering the response to climate, spatial flexibility and sustainability. The presentation was given to the TGBN on 3rd August 2011.

Shaneen's presentation is now available online (http://prezi.com/su36rcu0rfhm/the-least ... necessary/) and really is worth a look.
