The Solarstars we install in NQ are ordered with cylcone kits which consist of extra brackets to anchor the Solarstar to the polypropolene flashing. The Solarstars have been tested in the U.S & Canada to comply with Tornado requirements for residential and commercial premises. When examined for compliance in Australia, this testing was deemed to have exceeded the requirements for buildings in cyclone prone regions.
We have installed hundreds of these units right across our region over the last 2 years, and to this point there has been no issues with the failure of a Solarstar even after cyclone Yasi.
